Section 22 Permit Public Services

 

RangeRider Service

A flexible door to door Dial-A-Ride service operating within 15 miles of Mountain Ash. Route destinations include various areas of Cynon Valley, Merthyr Tydfil Bus Station, Trelewis, Treharris, Pontypridd Bus Station, Porth, Upper Boat area of Treforest and Caerphilly.

The service operates mini routes on specific days of the week to the above areas for Supermarket shopping, Town Centres, Day Centres, meetings, residential homes and some health destinations.

A single fare is set for each area, though Concessionary Passes for over 60's and people with disabilities can be used, as well as the Young Persons Discounted Travel Scheme.

The service is availble Monday - Saturday each week, excluding Bank Holidays.

 

 

Outriderz Excursions

As an extension of the Section 22 Permit service, several excursions and trips are being developed to meet the needs of the community. Keep in touch with the Home page for updates.

 

Section 19 Permit Services

 

Prince Charles Hospital evening visiting

This is a door to door service funded by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, and operates from the Cynon Valley area to the hospital from 5.30pm and returns at 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday. A fare is charged and Concessionary Passes allow free travel.

 

Members Service for Groups and Individuals

Voluntary sector groups and individuals requiring specialised transport can join the charity with an annual subscription and book transport to meet their needs. A mileage or set charge is made for this service.

 

Other Services

 

Service Level Agreements

The charity develops these agreements with many agencies to deliver services to meet community needs. This can be with statutory organisations, third sector or small voluntary organisations.

 

Contractual Arrangements

The charity undertakes contracts with various local authorities for school contracts and community care contracts.

 

Hire of rooms on charitable premises

The charity owns a large building with a hall which can be hired for local meetings.
